What have you done with your wedding dress?
I've been married for nearly 29 years and my wedding dress has been in its original box under the bed for all this time. I love my dress but it'll never be worn again, I have noone to pass it onto. So I was wondering what to do with it. I've seen ideas of displaying wedding dresses in large shadow boxes. DH is going to attempt to make me one while he's on furlough.
However, in case that doesn't work out, I wonder what our Dibb brides have done with their wedding dresses? Ladies, please share your ideas.

Mine is hanging up on the side of my wardrobes.
DD has played and tried it in a few times. No one would want it now but don't feel I could bin it. |

I donated mine to a local charity that make outfits and wraps for babies born sleeping. I got a picture of what they had made out of my dress and also they sent me a small heart so I had a reminder of my dress.

I sold mine - well I gave it to my parents to sell as they bought it. I've been married nearly 22 years so probably sold it 21 years ago!

Mine is in a vacuum bag in the loft. It fits dd like a glove but I doubt she would ever want to wear it and would want her own wedding dress.

Mine is hanging in the Loft wardrobe covered in a sort of strong plastic.
I paid for my daughter and daughter in law's dresses to be properly cleaned and boxed. Just wondering why it never occurred to me to get mine done when I did either of theirs. |
