Pushy travel agents...

Thank you for your message.

Flights are fully out. You can check this yourself on the Disney website, Virgin website and Tui.

Disney 2022 is selling like hot cakes and prices are rising rapidly as availability is getting low.

After Boris announcement tomorrow things are going to be crazy so if you are serious about going I would strongly advise booking sooner rather than later.

Don’t you just hate a pushy travel agent?

DIY > Travel agents for me. Even if we booked a package I'd do it myself online.

Yeah definitely DIY for us. I just wanted to get quotes, as flights are only available via TUI at the minute (for the dates we want). I must admit, I am a little worried about booking it all separate for next year, just incase something prevents us from going due to covid.

It’s also not true. Flights for 2022 can’t be “fully out”. It’s only February. With the exception of Tui you can’t book beyond January.
If they’re going to be pushy they could at least get their info right.

Pushy whilst they still owe a lot of people a lot of money. Will never use them.

My travel agent is the DIBB.

I get loads of ideas from reading about the actual experiences of forum members.

I ask lots of questions and they almost invariably reply with good information.

They give me great indication of where I should fly too, which hotels are good to book and at what price.

When things go wrong, it is clear that advice is prompt, generally very good and also that there is real enthusiasm to help out.

Why on earth would I consider a formal travel agent who will doubtless have their own agenda as regards where I should fly, where I should stay and how much I should pay?

It also seemed to me that in the chaos of 2020, it was the DIYers who had spread their risks across numerous suppliers, often booking direct that were the most successful and importantly, quickest in getting their money back. Cutting out the middlemen completely (TA’s ) made refunding very much easier.. certainly in my case.

Isn’t it awful? Someone who doesn’t have a clue would probably believe this TA. I corrected him on my reply, and this was his response...

Virgin are selling holidays all the end of 2022 but no worries I will close your file.
Was only trying to save you money.

Kind Regards
