Well done, bet he was taken the mick out by his workmates.

Few years ago we checked in OKW top floor block 62, I nipped to the store.
Ran up stairs there was a door on latch like I had left, walked in put the bread on the tv cupboard and a lady said " hello ". Wrong room! She laughed thank goodness.

As for walking in the ladies or gents by mistake, I think we've all done it.

Wow I think I’d have freaked out. I’m always so funny about who I open the door to, but I think I also let my guard down a bit if I’m expecting something, which I shouldn’t.

Years ago my mum heard a knock on the door and she opened it and a little old lady just walked inside and sat on the sofa. My mum rang around the local care homes and luckily found where she was a resident of (she had dementia and thought it was her house).

The thing is, our house is very different from our neighbours. Literally everything different...driveway, cars, style of house, we have a garage, they don't. i now realise he has been working there lots of times over the past few months as his van has been on their drive a lot. I can only assume he just wasn't thinking when he did it. He is here again today but thankfully chose the right house.

Next time he will maybe think about introducing himself before just walking into someone’s home!

That reminds me of when I came home to find someone asleep on my doorstep! It was dark do a bit scary!
It was a terraced house and he was leaning against the door so would have fallen in my lounge if I had opened the door!
I tried waking him up but didn't do anything. I knocked on next door abd the man (who to be fair was a bit odd) said "its not your boyfriend is it?" ? ! I think I might have known him!
Anyway, ended up phoning the police and was glad I had as they couldn't wake him either do dragged him off and ge ended up fighting with them! He had obviously taken something!
I had forgotten about that until now!

We had that a few years ago when we bought our house. We’d left the front door open because we were carrying stuff in and a man, his wife and 2 kids appeared in my dining room! They’d got the right house number but the wrong street!

I should have played dumb and shown him where the paint and wallpaper was. It would have saved us a job this weekend.
