Ummm. Some nice greek restaurants but not a lot there. Maybe pop in for a meal quick look around.

We had an amazing villa there though. On the seafront with its own pier.

Tarpon is a bit out of the way though. Fair trek to Tampa and also Clearwater. It seems to get quieter the further north away from Clearwater you go.

All of the Gulf Coast Beaches below Clearwater are good and if you stay at somewhere like Siesta Key you are within reach of Naples to the South and St Pete Beach to the North.

On the Atlantic side, ignoring Miami and Fort Lauderdale, the best stretch is from New Smyrna to St Augustine which will include the Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach.

When are you going?
August.

We always stay around the 192 and get on the I4 at junction 55 takes no more than 90 minutes to get to Clearwater Beach, St Petes is quicker. Not much difference at all

Great prices on real sponges!
We buy a few if in the area & pay around $25-30 for a large sponge.
We have seen real sponges in London of the same size priced from £150-250!

Definitely Anna Maria!

Worth the drive from Kissimee.

Try and go to the beach area near Oak Ave, so quiet and beautiful.

Must eat at Ginny & Janes.

Supper and cocktails at The Sandbar in the evening!
