40 days to go! First trip as dvc members!

Hi all,

We didn't plan on going back this year (went in Jan) however we now are.

Being a last minute decision we didn't have much choice on where to stay using our points.

Lots of 'partial' dates were available but it was literally the day here or a day there.

Also so many refurbs going on.

Anyways we ended up staying at-

Wilderness Lodge 1 bed villa
Saratoga Springs 2 bed villa
Poly (home resort)

We were happy we got to stay at the Poly for our last 3 days as its our home resort.

We're there at Wilderness Lodge in just under 40 days... Then moving onto OKW 8 nights in.. for the final 6... We may see you there.

OP. Nothing beats your first trip as an Owner. It's a lovely feeling opening the door and thinking 'we bought this'. Even if it's actually only a tiny bit of it

And then they send you the Annual Dues statement in January!

We have been on nearly 20 trips in total and first looked into DVC in 1999! If only we had brought it back then.!

As for the annual dues, it's more painful paying in CAD as its so weak at the moment.

One other thing...

When they say ' Welcome Home' on your arrival...

It NEVER gets old.

We had a look at the Poly DVC last week and they look amazing. It's our favourite resort and where my daughter learned to swim. So many happy memories.

Be prepared for the lull you feel when you walk around the parks and see the dvc stalls and think 'ah can't talk to them anymore'
