Yes, we went from 16 nights to 19 nights, to last year which was 13 nights. It was a real shock to the system and it stressed me out trying to plan it and try and fit in everything we wanted to do without exhausting ourselves. In the end, I remembered it’s a holiday that we’re very lucky to keep having, and 13 days is better than none. We dropped Universal & sea world, had 5 Disney day, a beach day, shopping day, days in the villa and an overnight stay down in Deerfield beach with dinner by the ocean and a walk along the beach & pier before flying home from Miami later that evening, and we actually had a lovely holiday, probably one of our best out of the 3 so far. This year we’re back to 17 nights as going in August rather than October. I now know I would quite happily go for a week if I could, it’s just managing your expectations on what you can/can’t do in that time!

We have never done 3 weeks, but have done 2 weeks plenty of times.
We manage to do everything, all the parks and discovery cove. We still have time for chill days at the pool and shopping days! Next time we are doing 17 nights, so this will be a real treat for us. But we never struggle with 14, you will have an amazing time!

We have been for 3 weeks and we are only doing 2 this time. To be honest I don’t think it will be a problem as we know now that we don’t have to fit everything in.
The first time we went to every single park at Disney, Universal and SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, Aquatica, Wet and Wild, and to Busch Gardens and Kennedy Space centre - we were on our knees by the end of two weeks and maybe even too tired the appreciate the final week. The next few times we went for longer but actually did less - much calmer! This time we are just doing Disney, and we know what we like and what we don’t. It’s a lot more like a real relaxing holiday. Edited at 03:11 PM. |
