A lovely way to spend your birthday! I've celebrated a birthday in WDW and it was the perfect location for me and my then 8 yr old boy to celebrate (our birthdays are only 2 days apart in late July). It must have taken quite a bit to keep the plans secret. Moments in time you will never forget! I'm really enjoying this report and sad that it'll will be your last but there seems to be plenty more to come. Rose and Crown has never been on my list but I stopped for a pint and a pasty their on our last visit and it did look nice. Pasty was good too!

The photos from the boat in the morning all look fab, it must have been great fun sailing about and pleasing yourselves with the Disney radio turned up.

Then followed by a lovely afternoon and evening at Epcot. The Rose and Crown dinner and time spent with your friends on your special day are something you will cherish. Being able to watch Illuminations for one last time with them mirroring your first viewing sounds very special indeed.
It was exactly that - from Illuminations cruise on our first family trip to today - to our very last Illuminations Was a send off that possibly requires a greater forum, I guess it will in time on other social formats

The boat trip is such a hidden and lesser known Disney gem , and pretty reasonably priced - it is a stand out from the whole trip and then bugs me as to why we had not thought of doing it before !

A day I will never forget and a birthday number I have tried to!

xx

I'm still in shock I was deliberately lied to for so long

They did a great job and more than anything - I honestly can't remember the last time something was done for me as a surprise
For that reason, and the fact we did not have a big fuss birthday at home I will be eternally grateful!
Was a fab day and can't express my appreciation enough to everyone involved.

Got my 50th coming up next year, what with this year's trip in July cancelled hopefully I'll be celebrating over there next year.
If you are drinking around the World in Epcot - and need a tour guide you know where to come

Hope this gives an idea to plan a perfect 50th trip after all of the dismal cancellations of 2020.

Hope you enjoy planning some memorable experiences for your birthday trip

"These moments in time , live on forever in my mind"

Always will

Rose and Crown was never on my list to eat in Epcot and yet it surpassed everything we had ever thought it was going to be. Possibly the Rose beyond the wall
Quality food, quality service and some lovely CM's who made it an evening to remember. Maybe it was because we were a large group with 20% tip already included and paying OOP and not on the dining plan - who knows ?But it certainly struck us all as to how good the food and service was in here

To say we all watched our final illuminations together having enjoyed that Illuminations cruise together in 2008 just made all the more special.

A pint in The Rose and Crown is a must for every World showcase visit - never had the pasty though - on the list for the future
