We have done 7 nights at universal and 9 nights at Disney and would do both in a heartbeat again. Yes, we did find it tough to adjust to the jet lag and then return back home so quickly (mainly on the 7 night trip). But it was great to be in our favourite place, no matter how short. We did feel like we wanted to stay longer but knew we would be back in a couple of years so had that to keep in mind whilst we were there. I would recommend it to anyone.

You can have a fantastic time at WDW in 7 days Get yourself a week at the Yacht club and a couple of days at Hard Rock. It'll be brilliant.

I've done 7 days, of course we wanted more but it still had a great time. We did two park days and the rest chilling by the resort pool.

it was also nice to not have such a big credit card bill after. A 2 week trip can be very expensive 😫

We never do more than around 8-9 days in Orlando any more as we have increasingly combined it with other USA destinations. Even some of that time is spent using it as a base to travel elsewhere.

Unlike the threadstarter, we do this whilst cutting Disney and concentrating on our other two, preferred franchises.

I would now struggle to do much more than a week in Orlando as I have found so many other places to go and in any case, internal US flights are both plentiful and cheap. I am guessing that our next Orlando visit will be no more than 4 days with Universal also being cut.

There is simply too much of the USA or even Florida to see and so little time to see it!

I’ve taken one of my grandchildren across for a couple of last minute Disney breaks. Done 7 and 8 days respectively and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

All trips have been 7-11 nights, around 14years ago my then 9year old DS and I did 9 nights and did WDW (4parks+WaterPark+Disneyquest), Universal (2 parks), Seaworld, Discovery Cove and a Balloon flight

It was great at the time, in hindsight all too manic but at the time it was a once in a lifetime trip, 2 years later was more relaxed and as were the multiple later trips!

9 Days is just fine especially if its not your once in a lifetime trip

This is us nowadays too.
For a week in Orlando I’d do either Disney *or* the IDrive parks not try to fit in both. Last year we did DC ,Seaworld, Aquatica and drove to Tampa for BG and enjoyed it as much as doing “just” Disney the trip before (and spent a lot less). Next time will probably be Universal only as we will only be in Orlando for five days before moving on (should be there now actually )
