Absolutely! Similar to the example in 2005.

Similar economic times (actually it’s likely to be a lot worse now) and probably more relevant than comparing offers to recent times with good economic times, high propensity to travel and buoyant confidence. I think those times are probably a more predictive comparator than say 2019 due to the current circumstances.

I'd love the $2 to the £1 of 2008 again. We were like kings over there and the kids had whatever they wanted as we had loads of dollars.

But just hope everyone gets through these trying times and things can start getting back to normal soon.

They have said if there is some offer that they announce we would be able to add it on, even if its the return of the ddp. I don't think there will be as many visitors pre booked as they would hope for 2021. I could still cancel if I wished and just lose the deposit & save thousands of pounds by not going. They need to make sure we go and spend while we are there. Entice us by thinking we are getting value for money. Other customers will be in the same position with how shakey things have been. They don't have my money yet!

These are not normal times and Disney has told several customers that they could have offers applied. I’m sure if we all complain Disney will come good. They usually do.

i have it in writing that they will honour any offers. It seems weird that this is the first we've heard of it. Usually we'd be emailed by travel companies etc to prepare and there would be a hint of what was to come.

well fingers crossed. It would be good to see which way Disney are going to play things. My money is on discounted rooms. We're looking to go over the 50th anniversary though so i'm not sure if they'll discount those.
