Contrary to the opening post there have been several threads on this on here, including several yesterday.

As I mentioned, I saw a few scattered replies on other threads, or some regarding specific cancellations, but nothing specific relating to this announcement. Thought it might be helpful for people who weren't aware.

Also, it seems Virgin are still tweeting re. the 6th, not the 31st?

Might it be you can apply for an open ticket up till 31st October? As virgin class this as cancelling with no penalty?

What’s the latest with these Virgin Atlantic flights?

We lost out in April.

I was previously hopeful of our late October trip; but no so much anymore🙃

I whats apped yesterday and got a reply saying our original flight was cancelled and we were put on VS73 on the same day that was still going. But that change was made over a month ago when they stopped the 747. At the moment flights are apparently cancelled till the 6th October.
