Redundant

Well it was inevitable I suppose...lost my job and I'm devastated, I absolutely loved my job and my work colleagues 😢... I just wish this year would go away because I've had enough now, just sat and cried for the last hour and can't cry anymore, I'm done with these hard times 😢

Thanks Tom...I know it's hard for everyone, it's just I loved my job and that in itself is a rarity 😢
I'm too old to get another I think, they like the young ones these days 😢

So terribly sorry to hear that Marion. I know it no consolation that is is happening to many that I know and I guess at the end of furlough hundreds of thousands of others but I do hope you take time about and see if you can find a new vocation whatever that is . I agree - 2020 is continuing to be a ≈≈≈≈e year for many of us . Try and do something nice for you even it is only away from the world for a nice cup and tea and cake at a local cafe - so something for you

So sorry to hear this.

A friend told me yesterday she will be made redundant at the end of December (NHS restructuring of fixed term contracts). As you say, she's heartbroken, she'd been there for years.
