Results are in and it's not good

I'm sad to say that today I have been diagnosed with cancer. Despite preparing for the news, my emotions are raw. It's is, according to the team, Hodgkin's lymphoma but they're worried about another marker on the biopsy, which despite thirty plus years of nursing, I don't understand. They are waiting for the pathology of that marker to show... Which should be within the next week, at that point they'll have stage and full name etc.

I know many of you have been through this with various forms of cancers and had to endure chemotherapy etc , which looks to be where I'm heading.

I'll be back on asking questions of those that have gone through this. I've had several PMs. Thank you to those who have wished me well. I'm keeping the faith, waiting to move forward and ensuring that I get to see my grandson grow.

I have been waiting for you to post as I suspected the results were due. Best of luck going forward and I hope the treatment isn't too grueling but you have a great support network with your Family and even on here.
