Losing your four legged best friend.

I'm sorry to read this, we lost our fur baby two weeks ago we are all devastated its such a big loss in your lives and totally heart wrenching, thinking of you all.

So sorry to hear this, posts like yours break my heart. A neighbour lost her pet last year and she spent a week mourning her loss and couldn't face going out. Still misses her boy but coping better xx. Hugs to you all xx

Sending hugs to you. We had to have my choc lab pts two weeks ago and he was my shadow, my choccy baby as i dont have kids and he was with me about 80% of the time as he came to work with me every day and we don't go out that much so all day every day he was my shadow. He was 10.5yrs old.

I have never cried so loud as when we knew his time had come. Poor neighbours must've wondered what was going on in our house.

The pain does subside but the wonderful memories of happy times remain. You will always miss her but you will learn to take comfort in the fact you did the best and kindest thing for her despite it breaking your own heart.

So sorry to hear this news too. I have managed to get through the weekend without crying too much.

Her bed and bowls are still out in the kitchen - DH and I were going to sort her bed out this morning, but we both just started crying and have decided to leave it for another day ...

I looked for her when I came in from shopping this afternoon ...
