Dunlopillow latex pillow for me. These are the pillows that we had at home as a kid. Courtesy of my uncles working there.

Same for me. Pillows have to be really firm for me to be comfortable.

I woke up quite a few times in the night with menopausal hot sweats and thought of your post regarding expensive pillows 🧐 because my neck sweats the most 😬
This morning I stripped the bed and mattress protector and also my pillow. I have tempur cloud pillows and it has an inner pillow so I can wash the pillow case and the tempur outer cover.
A pillow case & protector would not stand up to years of sweat and I can’t stand stains on pillows (or duvets).
I will post a picture when its dry so you can see what I mean 👍🏻👍🏻

Had these since I was younger too
Nothing else works for me

Memory foam is like putting your head on a brick but the rest of my family like them

Invest in a silk pillow case, it will really help with this
Look up the benefits

I loved my Dunlopillo and when I felt it was time for a replacement, after 10 years, I couldn’t get hold of one for love nor money.

The OH ordered a Simba bed and took up the offer on the pillows. They’re good, but I prefer the Dunlopillo by far.

Of course, as soon as the pillows arrived, Dunlopillos were magically in stock again!

We keep pillows a year to 18 months. Assume others keep there’s much longer ?

Silk pillowcases are really cheap now.

For pillows I have a Dunelm memory foam but DH still can't find a comfy one. He's fed up of trying to find one.
