Sun protection for the folically challenged

Asking for a friend

What do Dibbers do to protect their heads from the sun, not just in Florida and other sunny places, but just generally day to day?

Now that DH is retired, he is out doors more, walking the dog and gardening etc. I think he should use sunscreen on his head as part of his daily routine. He's not much of a hat wearer unless on holiday.

We stock up on Walmart's Equate brand aerosol sport sun protection when in USA but it's a bit sticky. Is there a specific kind of sun protection for hair & scalp that Dibbers would recommend?

My better half is Scottish, pale and coloured …. African Sunset (aka ginger! ) and they found this great stuff in Japan - sorry not closer to home - but it goes on as fine powder, not sticky, and resists sweat but my better half swears by it for their head (arms / legs etc)

Ultra sun face and scalp mist, recently saw it on qvcuk, and looks great
Not heavy or sticky, and a good factor, plus you can try it for 30 days and get a full refund if you don’t like it

My husband uses ultrasun sports gel sunscreen, he doesn’t need it on his head, but on The demonstrations they say it’s great for that purpose, he likes it as it’s clear comes in a pump bottle and easy to apply a layer each morning.

Hi as a person who needs protection I use a factor 30 or 50 sports spray that is waterproof, no massaging in.This lasts 4/5 hours .

That's a belter, nearly choked on my biscuit with laughing 😅
Both me and other half used to fit that description. Sadly I am now Arctic White and he is Polish Gloss 😢
