We like Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister. Clever script writing and I always hope “Jim Hacker” will win, which of course he does. 😃

This Country is very gentle and subtle. Motherland.

Fleabag & Catastrophe are good but not gentle, and definitely not subtle

I like outnumbered and Gavin and Stacey, only fools and horses is classic.

After Life, Father Ted, Outnumbered. We also like Family Guy but I’m not sure that could be called ‘gentle’ or indeed British

Staged on iplayer.

Also I rewatched The Kumars at Number 42 recently and it still holds up.

Brassic is absolutely hysterical, came upon it by chance, only two short series so far but laugh a minute

Loved Detectorists!

Still Game always gives me a chuckle, as does Benidorm, although I'm not very high brow lol

The remake of All Creatures Great and Small on Channel 5 was great.

Some great shows already mentioned but what about Auf Wiedersehen, Pet? Not the newer ones, the original ones set in Germany, Thornley Manor and Spain.
