Pleasant Surprise!
Well, I’ve not seen this many times, if at all!
Car insurance renewal email popped up in my mailbox and it’s £12 cheaper than last year, saving me a whopping £1 per month. I’m still going to see who else is competitive but definitely a nice little surprise for a change. 😀

You are lucky, our house insurance quote has gone from £248 last year to £460 this year!
I had to do a double take. We’ve never claimed in 22 years of insuring a house, it’s outrageous. Same house, same details etc. Needless to say I will be finding another insurer. |

This is how they should do it. I for one would not bother looking for anything else if they came back cheaper than the year before as I hate renewing insurance. Every year, they send through the most ridiculous quotes forcing you to search for new insurance and then you ring them and tell them you are leaving and then they match what you’ve found elsewhere. Just offer me a competitive rate in the first place! Such a rigmarole!

I’m with Admiral and I got my renewal quote through Friday, I have a 1.2cc Citroen c3 air cross and the quote was £620.00, went on the website did a new quote and low and behold it was £296.00 for exactly the same policy, hubby’s car due 2 days after mine just got both done for £543, business use for his, he has a 1.6cc Kia Sportage. How can it be cheaper for me to insurance two cars and one, it doesn’t make sense.
