I’ve found you can easily replace a lunchtime or an evening meal with festival items, but the location of each booth can cause issues if you have fussy eaters or wanted something specific.
A good example is The Morocco pavilion area. Both Belgium and Brazil booths are right next door so you can easily make an excellent meal from a combination of those booths (Brazilian cheese bread being one of THE standout items in the whole festival!) for the price of a QS meal. Previously, I’ve had Braised beef in beer from Belgium with Brazilian Cheese bread and a Belgian waffle with topping for dessert, all for $14.25 (less than the price of a QS entree and dessert). But it does not help if someone in your party wants Mexican and another French… Edited at 02:18 PM. |

When does “food and wine” start? Do the dates change each year? Thanks

It's always the same time of year. The exact dates change, although it's also been getting longer every year. Usually it was late August to mid November but this year is running July 15-November 20.
Not sure if it was extended this year just to try and space out the crowds a bit due to the 50th, or if they're just trying to run festivals pretty much year round now to draw in more people since they're good money makers. I suspect the latter. Edited at 05:40 PM. |

Its a fab way to sample lots of dishes, although some of them can be overpriced for what they are! It does get really busy and I would def avoid weekends!

Do you mean the Friday and Saturday nights?
We’ll be staying at the Beach Club on a Thursday to Tuesday next August and was looking forward to wandering over to the World Showcase for our evening meal. The idea of there being loads of stage and hens/antisocial behaviour is really putting me off 😕 Is it that bad?
