Has anyone done this at universal

Looking at the universal dining plan at $26 plus $9 for the freestyle cup.( is the plan still available)

Has anyone shared 1 of these between 2 people. Seems plenty of drinks for both people and also share a burger meal which would be enough for the 2 of us

Is this acceptable or do the servers expect you to have a meal each to sit in the restaurant.

Seems reasonable price at $35

We’ve shared meals before but tend to buy a refillable mug each. Just because we drink different things though. I’m sure sharing is fine.

If it's a quick service, they don't care. I've seen plenty of trip reports where people share meals.

I thought US had stopped selling their dining plans though. Are they back? Checked a few of my usual sources and can't see any hint of their return.

ETA: Just double checked and they only stopped selling them a couple weeks ago. So won't be a Covid related change.

We always buy one meal and a drink between us in all the parks
We’ve collapable cups with lids so share or fill our cups at water stations. Or ask for iced water
The only meal deal option we do is Busch as we go for opening and stay till closing and eat on arrival and at last service
We do do Sea World / Busch food+and wine festival much better value than Disney
We now usually do a leave the villa crack of dawn arrive at Busch for opening after dumping the cat at our favorite Airbnb jump on a bus and arrive for breakfast buy al day dinning return to Airbnb and do a second full day at Busch bus is a couple of dollars each and runs every 10 mins from entry gate
We use the same Airbnb for a bucks game as the bus is right out side the door on game day
