And, yeah, a quick change of destination airport from Orlando to Miami and I can see one-stop indirect flights from £371pp for the same dates flying with TAP.
I will be honest, i havent looked for about 3 weeks as i have been busy and i was getting frustrated by it ( so gave it a bit of a break )

£613 wouldnt be the final price though, i bet they dont include checked luggage and booked seats, which often on a stopover flight adds another £150 PP

agreed, one of the app's had the option, but you then click though a broker ( like gotogate ) and you have to add them, or they only include the part of the flight that they are running, for example i booked up with Lufthansa, paid to book seats and luggage, paid for the flights and went to book seats, i could only book them on the leg they were flying, had to book direct with BA for the rest, which would have cost me £39 PP X 2

Not sure if this is any interest to anyone but I have found this transfer place if you are considering other airports and don't want to drive

Usually around Christmas. Two years ago I held off for the dec sale and I ended up paying more than if I’d booked at beginning of December. My hubby wasn’t best pleased.

For the last three years we have waited until around Christmas and sometimes a January and the prices have been cheapest during that period. They never dropped any cheaper after that.
For us we found the Newcastle-Heathrow-Miami was much cheaper then I drove either to Naples or straight to Orlando.
We paid £2160 last year for 3 adults and 1 fifteen year old with a full-size car fully insured.
That was middle weeks of August.
Hope we can find the same this year.
Hotels seem more expensive at the moment as well.
