Josh and I face timed this evening. His little boy and our other DGs were going to a party and wanted to show me their outfits
And he wanted to show me is discharge letter from the speech therapist
He has a slight repetitive speach pattern but that's if he is not facing who he's talking too and his hearing loss from a previous head injury
Has dissapeared
He still struggles a bit with some written words reading out loud but
He has dyslexia so who cares
He returned to TKD tonite with DH and walked his 3dan pattern through
All be it stiff due to his brace but without one prompt
DH had to walk away as he finally could just let go after weeks of really hard tough love

It's all been mixed with a lot of laughter and the return of his very wicked dry sense of humour
Yes him and I have on the odd ocassion just stopped short of verbal blows
I admit I've been a pure unrelenting task master at times but that's the nurse inme saying no he doesn't need you as a mum right now
Push him walk away let him do it let him try something new
His biggest isssues now are physically his weight hesjust not gaining
Mentally getting In a car he won't entertain mine struggles with DH

He’s made such good progress in what is relatively a short amount of time. As a family you’ve all been wonderful pulling together with one goal making your DS whole again.

You all have my admiration, may the good progress continue.
