Massive. Changes to EPCOT

Innoventions has been like two big useless sheds for ages I’m personally glad to see them go. I shall miss the beautiful fountains though.

Some of my favorite memories with my kids are from Innovations.

- Starring in their own video game
- Surviving a tornado
- Making paper from pulp (for free!)
- Making little plastic robots (for free!)
- Designing rollercoasters, and finally being able to go upside down once tall enough
- Playing games with their piggy banks
- Playing drums in the house of the future tour
- Painting with light

I look forward to someday seeing the future of Epcot, but I will surely miss Innovations from its heyday.

I always feel a little bad when reading threads like this as frankly I never rated Innoventions at all. During all of our visits from me as a 6 year old to me at 28 last year, we mostly hit test track and Soarin' then went straight to world showcase.

I will miss mouse gear and club cool, at least until they bring the former (and possibly the latter I hear) back.

The fountain puzzled me, I'd never even realised it was "special" to people as such. It was largely off in 2017/18 from what I can recall. Very interested to go and see the progress next year. We like following the building works.

For too long nothing of serious import was happening in WDW parks - this is the result of that, they are having to do a lot of building works at once to make up for the years they neglected their parks.

Have to agree the revamp can only be a good thing. Really enjoyed our early visits to Epcot starting in 89 and miss many of the things that were there then but on recent trips after Test Track and Soarin we head to World Showcase for food and a few drinks missing everything else out.
