Dr JJ. As a freighter? I would have thought they were worthless apart from scrap sadly.

Edit. Just found it sorry, freighter conversion.

I thought they might have reached the end of useful life but at least three of the 744's will continue to carry passengers for Atlas Air in the USA according the the posts on VFlyer.

This got me thinking sadly. I have flown Transatlantic on 747’s since 1977

PanAm, TWA, BA and VA.

PanAm was by far the best followed by VA. The other two were just means of transportation.

It doesnt help that I am about fizzled out with tier 3 as well while London always seems to get away with it.

I walk the dog down at the local garden centre - its probably about 3 miles down the road. we walk there every weekend and have done for last couple of years. Just found out it comes under cheshire and is tier 2 so its fully open and we are all closed. How mind boggling ridiculous is that!
