I have relatives in Vietnam atm (Returning in 4 days) and other relatives going to Bali/Singapore in the coming weeks. I'm not certain what advice they are receiving atm either.

Their advice will be the same as ours - basic hygiene measures... there is no travel ban and these countries aren’t overrun with cases. I would have no worries travelling anywhere at the moment aside from China and Hong Kong.

My sons at Uni in Portsmouth and he has just told me his doctors surgery has been shut for a deep clean after a suspected case of Coronavirus

I'm sitting here in Quebec with a stinking head cold & we fly home Tuesday so I'm hoping my cold has gone by then as I don't want to be halled off the plane n put in quarantine ! I've heard no advice at all here as regards symptoms to look out for or what to do if flying any time soon 🙄

My husband is on the Tern rig offshore - they have gone on lockdown today, no flights on or off, as one of the workers returned from a holiday to Thailand last week and is now showing symptoms.

The guy in question has been placed in isolation on the rig until his results come through, which will take until Sunday.

They work in very close quarters so I hope it is all a fuss about nothing. If he DOES have the virus then my husband could be stuck on the rig for god knows how long
