Florida wedding March 2021

Hi All,

Happy new year to you all.

I need someone's help please!

We were due to go to Florida for the first time last June for my wedding but with the situation with covid we had to postpone to March 2021.

We have booked our villa through homeaway and am due to pay this coming Monday? Should I cancel the villa while i am still in the full refund zone or hold out?

Please help I'm a newbie

I would cancel the villa and get a full refund because it's looking very unlikely you will be able to go to Florida the month after next.

Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it.

My only issue is if I do cancel and it does go ahead, we would not have anywhere to stay..

In the unlikely event we are allowed to travel to Florida in March 2021 I would think there would be no shortage of villas available to rent.

Definitely cancel for the refund and as MH says, you'll get a place no problem (but the tiniest of chances of it happening). Then you have the money in place to re plan without stress!

As Mickey says I'd cancel
I can't find anything about the travel ban to the US for UK citizens being lifted or extended on 31/12/2020
But seriously doubt it's been lifted due to current new strain

My wedding is in September in Florida and even I’m not 100% on that.

I think Virgin have cancelled flights up until March, and whilst they’re not the oracle as such, I’d take that as an indication that things won’t be back to normal by then.

There are 1000's of places to stay in the Orlando area. You definitely would be able to find somewhere last minute.
