It has almost been 18 months since we moved in. Still a few things we want to do (mostly outside now) including the main bathroom!

OP. Yes well done to you both. Coming along nicely and a lot done in a short time.
We bought a derelict house back in 1986 and it took us 3 years to get it partly habitable and another 5 years to get it finished to a reasonable standard.
Since then we have redone the whole lot twice!

Thankfully ours wasn’t that bad. Mostly cosmetic apart from the kitchen which was obviously a bit more serious

Still more to do until we are happy though! Our spring project is part of the garden...

We’ve also had a new back door but that’s a plain white one so no photo
I am neutral on the original door, but the new one is definitely better. I like white doors, we recently put a new white one on back and we did white for the front a few years ago too. Suits our house anyway.

I actually love a traditional door! We've moved into a new build and I wanted a modern door that didn't look TOO modern.

I think it was the clear glass which we hated the most!

Garden

So, we have this week off and so have decided to start building the deck in the garden.

I don't have a proper 'before' but here are a couple of photos:

Before we changed the fence:

Is that a new fence I can see? Looks like it as I can see the posts now. Hope the weather holds for you, should be ok.
