We bought a derelict house back in 1986 and it took us 3 years to get it partly habitable and another 5 years to get it finished to a reasonable standard. Thankfully ours wasn�t that bad. Mostly cosmetic apart from the kitchen which was obviously a bit more serious

Still more to do until we are happy though! Our spring project is part of the garden...

We�ve also had a new back door but that�s a plain white one so no photo

I am neutral on the original door, but the new one is definitely better. I like white doors, we recently put a new white one on back and we did white for the front a few years ago too. Suits our house anyway.
