Hello again
You'll enjoy some of the later posts where we actually shell out at proper restaurants... :pop::pop:

Loving the trip reports. Were you staying at the Residence Inn? Interested to know cos that's where we're staying in January. If so what did you think?

Hello again. Thanks for sticking with my ramblings. DW was meant to take a turn as well but apparently there's a thing called "housework" that keeps her occupied...

Yes it was the Residence, although up until a few days before I was convinced it was the Rennaissance - both by Marriott. Rennaissance is bigger and right outside the park.

We really loved the Residence. Normally we stay in a villa, but because it was my birthday , and to avoid "housework" it was a hotel this year, and by all accounts we'll head back there next year. It's not the fanciest hotel we've stayed at, but everything was just right. It's in a great location (literally a short walk to seaworld), the staff are just great -you've got to check out the barmen, every cocktail is their speciality and I'm sure they make it all up as they go along. It's scrupulously clean with a great pool and hot tub. And the DDs were mighty impressed with the pizza hut. I'm sure you'll have a great time.
If you have any specific questions feel free to DM me.

Thanks for the info, good to know Seaworld is walkable as we were hoping to avoid using the car on the first day!
