A bit worried about Rosen inn @ Pointe reviews * update post 21

We stayed there twice in 2019, each time for 3 nights, and we never had a problem with the cleanliness of the rooms. It is fantastic value for money in a great location on International Drive and is an easy drive to/from the airport. We would have no hesitation staying there again.

We’ve stayed there a few times, and haven’t had any problems with it. However; we stayed for just one night in 2019 when our flights changed and I don’t feel like I’m in a rush to go back. I keep pricing up to go next year, but staying there doesn’t excite me anymore.

We have booked a package through Virgin and it was booked October 2019 when the reviews were great

I am sure it will be fine. We are only there for 9 nights as we have a Universal hotel booked for two nights in the middle and are going to the Beach for the last three

Hopefully if there enough bad reviews they will put measures in place to correct the problems

Just a thought JoJo - check how much Virgin would charge for a move to the Rosen Plaza … it’s just down the road but might be a better option 👍

I have priced up the difference if I booked now (although the prices are much more than when we booked) and it’s about £300 for the Rosen Plaza

I have a doubt in my mind that we will be going in November and if we were postponing until next year I would be happier leaving it, but just incase we go I really are considering moving

We stayed there crimbo 2019 after our initial accommodation was a dump (Saratoga Villas) and Virgin moved us, I was surprised at how nice and clean it was, staff were friendly and there were no rowdy people there, only odd annoyance was sirens going up and down I drive but this wasn't too often.

I would happily stay there again.

Whilst I do look at reviews I only take them into account and don't trust them 100%, I find a lot of people only leave them when they have a complaint and not when they have had good service, as previously mentioned a lot of people are moaning when its more to do with covid restrictions, some of the Hard rock, Portofino etc reviews that I've been reading recently are just silly.

Too many good reviews also worry me as a business can easily buy fake ones on the internet.

I agree some of the reviews for all different hotels are just silly

We twice stayed in an amazing hotel in Las Vegas and one review said it was like a hostel……just silly

Our balance is due next week so will have a think what we want to do

Its a pain to have to pay our balance when it is so uncertain if we will be going

Some great points here. The other thing to do is to look at the other reviews those people have posted. If they are all overly positive then could be fake, if they are all negative then could be a serial moaner and if they only have one or two other reviews, then try a different reviewer for the above.

Most real people will have a mix of good and bad and some comments that just make sense from a 'normal' person (whether you agree or not).
