Villa Booking websites - which one?

Hi,

I'm looking at villas for our next trip, i'm looking on the dibb, but am also looking at other sites too like VRBO etc.

Some villas show up on multiple sites, so which site is best?

Does anyone have any experience of which villa booking site is best? And if there are any pros/cons that we should consider?

The villas we like are on Orange Tree and also Calbria/Tuscany at westside.

We really like Debbies Villa’s. Their customer service is really great and they’ve been so flexible during the pandemic.

Hi,
Yes i was looking at Debbies villas, but then i realised that they were quoting £600 more than VRBO were for the same villa. So i feel reluctant to book with them now.

I’m behind the times apparently and my daughter insisted we use AirBNB. There was plenty of choice on there for what we were looking for.

We’ve used VRBO before as well with no problems so I wouldn’t hesitate to use them if cheaper.

I have used Airbnb, VRBO, holiday lettings and have all been good. My main priority when booking has been cancellation policies which are usually set by each individual owner.

We have had no issues with VRBO, we have a booking with them for Xmas 2022.

We have used VRBO for next years booking. Alot of variation with cancellation policies on there, but we found a good price that suited us with full refund up to 14 days before travel.

Some of the variations in prices for villas are also dependent on what fees the sites charge the owners. I also advertise on VRBO and the fees that they charge both the guest and the owner are quite high. Shop around for the best deal and good luck with your search.
