I haven't flown with them to SFB so can't comment, but if your friends are coming from fife, they might want to jump on the EDI flights instead.
No seat back TV's on the SFB route, FGS don't declare their legroom easily for economy, it is quoted as generous. |

Thanks
Yeah saw the EDI flights, but knew Globespan had flown out of GLA for a while, the only problem is it only flies on a Sun and returns on the Mon so another day needed off of work for them. Will show them all there options, we always go scheduled but it does mean longer flights and they have a 7 yr old so they would prefer to go direct to reduce the hastle, it will be their 1st visit so the easier the better for them first time round |

Booking with fly globespan is a gamble as in the past if they are unable to get a
high enough percentage of seats sold then the rebook passengers on another flight, when you make a booking with them one is required to accept the T&C,and agreeing to the T&C you are accepting that they can alter your flights. |

i am looking at flights from glasgow for july next year and so far booking a thomas cook flight through direct holidays is working out cheaper than globespan who as James sayes are a bit of a gamble.

Use Globespan many times and in my opinion are not a gamble, Good price, comfortable journey with plenty legroom, IFE not great but then again I dont watch it, All but one flight more or less bang on time. Globespan this year have re arranged and cancelled a few mid-week flights but I have read on other topics so have other airlines, remember this year the downturn in the economy as caught everyone by surprise and led to re-arranging by most airlines, next year I assume everything will be settled with Globespan and all other airlines. In short would defo use them again.

Have flown with them twice to Orlando they did change our flight this year from a Saturday to Friday was annoyed at the time but got an extra day's holiday so all worked out good in the end. Cabin Crew are very good, leg room in excellent, chairs very comforable, food good. We have booked to go with them again in May.
You will hear a lot of negative posts about GS but when you search through other threads Virgin, Thomas Cook & Continental seem to be having a habit recently of cancelling people's flights so not just GS that makes changes every airline does!

Personally I'm never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone - a search on Globespan should give you a range of opinions.

For every bad experience there are many good it's just the bad that gets the airing. Good leg room but poor ife, staff and food on board are excellent
