Emerald Island

We have just had our accomodation changed from oakwater resort to emerald island. We have been upgraded to a 3 bed townhouse has anyone stayed there before. We usually stay in a hotel so this is a first for us as well as driving for first time eek!

Emerald island is fab-really close to Disney and lovely properties.

Hi,

We stayed in a townhouse in Emerald Island a few years back. We were upgraded to a 4 bed which was absolutely gorgeous.

The townhouses were all together towards the front of the resort - we didn't need to go through the main gatehouse but there was still a gate to get into our area with a key code to enter.

Our house backed onto a lake and was very close to the communal swimming pool which was always very quiet when we visited.

The resort is the closest I've ever stayed to Disney and I would go back there without hesitating - it was fab.

We always book this resort. We love it and much prefer it to other resorts mainly due to its location. It is so close to not only Disney ( animal Kingdom less than 5 mins) but also to Marketplace supermarket and loads of great restaurants. You will love it. We do. Sarah
