Myakka Lake State Park Log Cabins

We are looking to spend a night at the Log Cabins in Myakka Lake State Park then do Deep Hole the following morning.
Has anyone stayed here in the Log Cabins and have any info please?
Also any info on Deep Hole would be appreciated

We've decided not to go after chatting on a Facebook group as August is very prone to floods.
That bad they raised the cabins a few years back to stop the floods getting in the cabins.
If bad floods then deep hole is a no go area also.
Gutted as looks a great time away.

We�ve stayed in the cabins at Lake Louisa loved it only mod co. They didn�t have was TV/WiFi A. C but it was amazing in the evening o;the front deck BBq on listening and to the wild life then back up watching the sun come up
Only thing needed food /wine / and bug spray and a take your trash home commitment
We loved it

Sounds perfect.
We were really looking forward to going but after chatting on the FB group we're on, it doesn't sound like Aug is a good time to go to Lake Myakka at all.

Im off in a couple of weeks and was looking at this option for a night or 2 but most seem fully booked for our dates (we only booked/decided to go last week)!

Anyway - there are plenty of other state parks fairly close to Myakka to choose from I looked on floridastateparks.org if any help.
