Flight Day
I don’t know about others, but I can never sleep the night before. I had taken a strong painkiller to help with the back and it had knocked me out so a plus, we were up at 5 am and had woken to a hypo, packed the ruck sack and headed down for breakfast which was the ususal fare of a full English breakfast and as much as you can eat.
Afterwards we finished breakfast headed back to the room to pick up rest of the bags and checked out. We then headed over to the airport, just across the road and up the escalator and into security. It was same lady as last night and we went through no problems, as we normally get stop due to the insulin.
Once through we discovered that I hadn’t packed the travel pillow so we went to WHSMITH and brought one for £20 drama over you may think? Not by a long a shot.
We board on time and flight was smooth and landed on time in Orlando, once landed we got the bags and hike across and down two levels to the Magical Express bus, where we had to wait half an hour (I know it was free but still), no forthcoming information from the staff. We finally on board and heading to the resort which was the last stop after Old Key West and Port Orleans French Quarter and then us, as we headed over to the resort from airport the heavens open!
We were able to check in quickly and no issues, bell service took us to our room in Alligator Bayou room 3939 which was right in front of the pool.
We check the fridge to make sure it was ok for the insulin, we had even brought our fridge thermometer with us to be on the safe side, it all looked fine and we put it in the fridge still in the frio wallets and went to bed.

It was and after a long day as well not great, previous trip in 2010 no wait what so ever. My parents are going in November and have booked a taxi as they had that same reason when they went two two years ago.
