Flemings (Winter Park rather than Sand Lake location), Del Friscos (International Drive), Mortons (Sand Lake) or Ruth Chris's (Sand Lake) are all higher end steak houses (with prices to match). However the best and most consistent steak we have had in the Orlando area is at the Chefs Table at the Edgewater in Winter Garden. It is reservations only and a 3 course meal with 4 options per course (filet mignon is always a main course option) for $60. It's a really exceptional place, especially for special occasions. The chef used to work at Victoria & Alberts at the Grand Floridian.
chefstableattheedgewater/ Outside of Orlando, Berns Steakhouse in Tampa is superb and quite the experience as well. bernssteakhouse/ Edited at 08:27 PM. |

If you are considering A Land Remembered, or cafe Osceola, at Rosen Shingle Creek its worth checking out the discount certificates at restaurant.com. There are not many of the " better" restaurants in Orlando on there but these are and offer a very useful discount. I must say I have only used their certificates in Vegas before, not Orlando, but they always worked fine for me.

As above, make sure you get a voucher from restaurant.com. We had one last year for $100. Had to spend $200 but omg what a meal we had, was amazing with the best service.
Also to add the Italian in shingle creek is also fantastic and you can get a voucher for it as well, it’s a great hotel. We are going this October with family , villa, but the adults are going back to the steakhouse for an adults only meal ( have an 18 year old nephew who will watch the younger ones). |
