SeaWorld/Aquatica v Universal

A healthy debate taking place in respect of our forthcoming trip. We are weighing up the choice of SeaWorld/Aquatica against Universal. We can allocate a couple of days off site. The SeaWorld option is certainly cheaper in respect of a a two day ticket and I am assuming that mid September we should be able to do SeaWorld in a day? Universal however is more “ full on” although SeaWorld does seem to have some world class coasters. We also need to factor in the exhaustion factor as well and hence my idea of Aquatica.

I would be interested to know the views of fellow dibbers.

Many thanks.

You would certainly do SeaWorld in one day.

We went over Easter (in fact went on the Saturday between Good Friday and Easter Sunday) and managed all the rides as was pretty quiet when first opened.

Other members of our party did three days at Universal, which included a two night stay in HRH in order for them to get express passes.

Cost wise, our four one day tickets for SeaWorld cost just over £200, yet my brother's party cost around £2k with four three days park to park tickets, as well as hotel cost.

Yes, there is more variety at Universal, but as you said, the three coasters at SeaWorld are probably the best in Orlando.
