Excited about Disney

Which villa community? Proximity to Disney / Universal, nice pool villas?
Finally returning to Orlando 5 years after our last visit, and very excited!
We'll be there for 11 nights. Last time we stayed in a Windsor Hills pool villa, which was fabulous. Now the kids are a bit older, we'll split our time between Disney and Universal (bit more Disney I guess given they've got more parks), and I seem to remember it was a bit more of a trek to Universal from WH, but it was pretty awesomely close for Disney. We aren't averse to staying onsite for a bit of that, so could do e.g. 9nts in villa and then do a couple of nights at Universal. Where's good to stay these days?! |

Windsor Hills is still a lovely community, last time we stayed there and went to Universal we booked 1 night at RPR to get the express pass included. It worked out really well.
Another resort you could look at is the Sheraton Vistana Resort, there one near the Crossroads, so a bit nearer to Universal. |

Most of the villa communities in Kissimmee are clustered closely, so much of a muchness regarding being within handy distance of WDW.
But don't rule out some of the lovely communities on H27 or even the other side of the I4. All easy reach of WDW. You're really best to decide what facilities you want from a community... we loved Terra Verde and its clubhouse, lakeside views and club pool and tikki bar etc for example, but the villas don't really offer lanais and we love to have a space outside to escape the sun. Sunset Lakes is almost the opposite. lovely lakeside views and lanais, but no clubhouse or bar. |

Hi if your thinking of a split stay then you should consider stay up at universal for 2/3 nights which in turn gets you the benefits . For onsite have a look at OKW ib great space and easy access to Disney springs. Offsite have a look at world quest, closest condo type acc to Disney. 4/5 mins to drive to Disney arch.
