We were there in September flew out on the 1st for 3 weeks and it was very quiet as a lot of people stayed away due to hurricane Dorian.
It was nice to see Disney so quiet compared to October but by the time we left Disney on the 13th it was definately getting busier. We found it to be much hotter than October and had to leave the parks a couple of times and just went back and sat in the pool. It may have been busier in October as some people rearranged their holiday due to the hurricane. We're going in May this year but looking at October too September was far too hot for us.

Particularly the end of Oct was horrendously busy, we flew out the last week of October. Which I know is school holidays in the UK, but still the parks were unbelievably busy to the point where a few of the days we just left the parks & went elsewhere
We are booked to go in September this year - fingers crossed for no hurricanes |

We like the end of September into the beginning of October; the only twice our hols have been affected by hurricanes (once losing 3 days holiday and arriving to a damaged villa, and last year losing a cruise and having to sort accommodation out on arrival) have been at the beginning of September (I know this changes every year but it's in my mind ).
