An easy beef brisket slow cooker receipe please ?

I haven’t cooked one myself but find lots of good recipes/advice on the slow cooker central website and Facebook page.

I tend to use brisket for slow cooker pot roast put it on first thing in the morning and it’s lovely by evening

Do you put any liquid in it or veg or just cook the joint ?

I layer onion any root veg I have red skinned potatoes on the bottom
Coat the brisket with seasoned flour and brown then put on top of the veg add one cup beef stock one cup red wine or two cups stock table spoon tomato purée put the lid on cook for 7/8 hours on low
When cooked turn cooker to warm take out the liquid and boil down to give a rich gravy
I served with either mash potatoes or red skinned small potatoes
I do add garlic but it’s fine to leave out also works well with shallots
