Landrys Birthday reward

Hey all,
Sorry to jump on this thread but it seemed relevant!

Does anyone know if you can use dining plan credits as well as the Landry's card to pay for meals? We would like to get an appetiser at Yak & Yeti and we know this isn't included in the dining plan, so I was wondering if we could use the $25 reward to pay for the appetiser and pay for the rest of the meal with credits?

Yes just tell the server that's what you are doing, you don't get change so spend the full $25

We are on DPP but I think I may get DH and I one each. My birthday is two weeks before we go and DH's is at the start of our second week of stay.
We definitely want to do TRex, where else on Disney site is recommended?

You have to pay $25 for each card and it is refunded on first use of the card, you cannot use birthday bonus at the same time as the start-up refund, so to get the benefit of 2 birthdays you would need to visit 4 times.

I see. I thought that we could each use our card on the same visit (by splitting the bill between the two of us), so would only need to visit twice.

May still get one as plan to eat at Trex and Yak and Yeti anyway.

Can I just ask then my 'birthday' is 1st august, I will be there from the 24th august for a week, will I have a new $25 birthday money to use whilst there?
