Mobile UK hotels that do tribute / theme / party nights 2 hours from Leeds

Hi all

I've been tasked with arranging a hen night for my friend. We have narrowed it down to wanting to do some sort of hotel party night. We'd like to be able to offer those coming either 1 or 2 nights and so the hotel needs to be close enough to somewhere so those staying for 2 nights can keep ourselves busy on the daytime. It also needs to be no more than 2 hours from Leeds.

So far I have the following on my list:

Whittlebury Hall in Northampton area

Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa just north of Leeds

Any Village brand hotel

Have any dibbers been to a similar type party night that you would recommend? Ideally we want something with a live band rather than just a DJ.

Thanks

We live next to The village hotel in Hyde, Manchester. It does lots of theme nights ( my dd works most of them) it is a 5 min walk from a train station where you can get a train into Manchester in 15 mins. Which would also be good if you needed to get a train there. The village in Ashton under Lyne is also close to Manchester and on a leisure park with cinema, bowling and restaurants, it is also on the tram line which can get you to Manchester in 40 mins.

Village hotels tend to be a dj rather than a band, but they are cheap and pretty good quality for the price. You can usually get a decent room price if your attending the event and they usually have pool/spa/gym with them. The ones I’ve been to have nice bars, not overpriced and Starbucks onsite. So, not mega-posh but certainly not shabby

Wouldn't recommend the village hotel Nottingham unless its been done up recently. Was abit shabby when we stayed
The one at Ashton looked newer but is in the middle of a retail park so no where to walk too but near the tram station

What about Newcastle. Check our boulevard its would be fab for a hen .miss rory is fabulous and very funny
