Mixology classes

Hi all,

Do Disney ever add additional Mixology classes, either before sailing or when you board?

On our fjords cruise, there was only one Mixology session offered and its sold out before it even gets to opening date for silver castaway members.

We’ve booked it as we are gold members, but just wondering as our relatives are keen, but they are currently only silver members.

Many thanks for any info 👍

There is always availability when you get on the ship.

On our Panama trip all the drink classes were full before we got on board. We attended 5 after getting tickets after we had boarded.

Even on the day they will probably be able to squeeze your family into a class. It's not as if Disney are going to turn the $$ away!

That’s great to hear - I know we’d all like to do it together, so I was hoping they’d add people to the existing class rather than doing a second separate class.

Thank you for replying 👍

Our FB group organised one themselves - it was great fun.

They won't go above their numbers. It's a maximum of 40 people for Mixology. They do hold space for embarkation day though like you say.

If there is no space when you get onboard, get your name put on a list as they will put another one on if there is enough demand (and space/time).

Nobody will do that any more as DCL changed the way it's done. Before, you paid via your own onboard account, but now, the organiser has to pay in full for everyone. Only 2 weeks prior to the cruise, the organiser will be told when and where the class will be. It will generally be on a port day which is no good for most people.
