London -this weekend.

Hey there

We are off to London this weekend . Arrive Saturday afternoon and leave Monday night.

Main reason is we are going to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Sunday

Any suggestions on other things to do?

We will definitely be visiting the Disney Store, Covent Garden and on the Monday we will spend some time at the Imperial War Museum.

Looking for anything quirky and reasonably cheap to do.

We have already done Science and Natural History Museums, Kensington Palace, Tower of London, Regents Park Zoo, Westminster area etc.

Any tips gratefully received 👍

Will you have a vehicle? If so, I can’t help but suggest Hampton court!

National Gallery and the Tate modern are great. I also really like the V&A museum.

You might also be interested in minalima, near the cursed child. The top two floors will be closed, but free and we really enjoyed our visit. As well as prints, they had very reasonable hp memorabilia. As well as previously mentioned museum we have enjoyed visits to British museum which is not far from covent garden, and food at my old dutch pancake house nearby. Have a fun weekend

Have a look what is on at Kings Cross/Granary Square/Coal Drops Yard - there is normally some sort of market/craft workshop/exhibition on as well as the normal shops/places to eat etc.
