Mobile How did I miss it?!

So today (we’ll yesterday now as it’s gone midnight as I write this) was 60 days to our summer trip and I was just going off to sleep when I realised! Queue panic and running downstairs to open my spreadsheet of plans of which park when. Luckily the summer is planned as days relaxing and evenings in the parks so got everything we planned including FoP (friend had already booked SDD on their stay which starts before ours). I consider myself the Disney planner for our holidays and can’t believe I missed FP day! Please tell me others have done this?
Having been on and booked, now I think I realise the more we go the less important the rides are and we more enjoy the atmosphere, food, hotel, shows.

I think this forum tends to generate panic. If you don't have ADRs for the most popular restaurants or fast passes for the most popular rides then you won't have a good holiday and that's not true. I read so many posts from people saying they're stressed over ADRs and fast passes which is crazy. I suspect if those people didn't come on here they'd be fine about it all.

I had forgotten about ours until i read this... we can book ours in a couple of days, staying off site. We only do the first 4 days... as we are normally up super early and we do the parks in a certain order. Other than that... we wing it

I also think the dibb generates a false sense of urgency. I agree that some things will get booked up quickly, but the majority are not. I cannot believe how many threads are posted about the success of booking all desired ADRs at 180 days, as if this was something unusual.

My 180 days for ADRS was 17th April, I did it yesterday and bar yak & yeti I got what I wanted for the times we wanted, but have a landrys card do no stress over that. I don’t even know when our 60 day fast pass day is to be honest, I got so stressed over it on our first trip & took a day off work to book them, 3rd time round and I’m far more relaxed, Will book what we can do just roll with it. It’s more about the food, the music, taking in the sights/sounds/smells, spending time together just the 4 of us and just having fun than the rides now, it’s stull a holiday after all, I’m not getting stressed over anything 😄

I find the stress of the planning is all part of the fun! Haha. Means I appreciate the holiday more when I am there!
