Hilton Gatwick South - breakfast buffet...

We're staying here before our flight in October, we have breakfast included with the room, has anyone had the breakfast buffet here and if so could you tell me what they have? We've never stayed at a hotel overnight before flying as usually fly from LHR so never thought about breakfast before! Thanks!

It’s a very extensive buffet! Name it and they have it.

Tell you what they didnt have last time...

Tomatoes, like out of the tin, had halves which i am not a fan of and wait for it...

Baked Beans (love these with a fry up)

No way! I am almost certain they did when I was there recently - my colleague had beans on toast

Stayed "free" with Tesco Deals at the LGW Hilton about 6 or 7 times but not in the last couple of years although I recall most stuff was available on the breakfast buffet then.

However like Disney 332 I much prefer tinned peeled tomatoes for breakfast.

Buffet dinner (not included in the Tesco rate) has gone downhill in my opinion.

Thanks everyone!

We fly at 11.20 to Tampa, so was hoping to grab some breakfast there rather than paying at the airport seeing as it's included. None of us eat loads before we fly, so would just be grabbing toast/pastries etc rather than full breakfasts!

It's a big restaurant and gets busy. One time we found it hard to get thier attention for tea and coffee, since they bring it, rather than you getting it yourself from a machine.

The last time we needed an early breakfast and were there on opening - (5am ish, can't remember exactly when). It was obviously much quieter then!

While we were waiting for the restaurant to open, we were beside an outside door and were able to pop out for a breath of fresh air - important when you are going to be spending the entire day inside or in a plane.

Ask at reception for a coupon off, it’s readily available if you ask. £5 saving on the buffet! Which is very good.

Thank you, breakfast is included with our booking, if paying I would rather opt for a weatherspoons breakfast in the terminal haha!
