40 Birthday Trip, London Bound

Tuesday 30th April.
Travel Day London Bound.
Today was mostly doing the last minute cleaning and packing making sure we had things like sun hats, travel pillows and sunglasses remember this for later, for lunch we had Chinese take away as we had nothing in the fridge what so ever so we had a portion of sweet and sour chicken balls and chips.
The taxi had turn up on time and it was smooth sailing all the way to London Gatwick Premier Inn North on previous trips up to London it has been a complete night mare, we paid the taxi driver and checked in we headed over to twilight bag drop to save time the next morning, while we were doing that Mark received a phone call from the taxi driver, he had underpaid him by £10.
Even thought we had priority boarding no issues and no wait shall be doing that again, as we headed out we saw the priority for security and double check with the lady on the gate, she had said we don’t always let people in with virgin even thought it was priority on the ticket so it will be interesting too see what happens in the morning. After bag dropped off we headed back to the hotel and had an early night.
