Also if you don’t want to buy expensive bottles of water after security, pick up a environmentally friendly bottle in the uk it can go through empty and use a refill water station after security, you can take the Robinson’s squash ems in your liquids bag as it’s under 100ml and add to the water if you prefer a bit of taste .. saves a fortune.

Just wondering if you could take something like pot noodle onto a flight and ask for hot water?

I asked the girlfriend (a Virgin Flight Service Manager) for you. She says Virgin would provide hot water, but would not mix the Pot Noodle for you so there can be no inference of tampering with the product. They would not provide cutlery either, so take your own plastic spoon / fork.

Provision of hot water is only the same as serving you tea / coffee, just minus an ingredient. Also the crew will always warm baby food bottles in water upon request.
