Anyone been in the London victoria area recently?

we've got a 4 hour wait between coaches, and normally we'd go to the shopping area attached to the train station.
Lots of places to eat, wetherspoons etc.

But looking at their website no food places are open.
Its not for another 3 weeks so things "could" change but any ideas where we could go? Cheap and cheerful 😊

There is a big newish area with lots of eateries in the vicinity of Victoria train station.
Shake Shack is there plus the likes of Bleecker Burgers, Franca Manca for pizza or Pizza Pilgrims, a few pubs.

I live near there and much of Cardinal place and Victoria now closed - some are re-opening but not sure for how much longer to be honest. It’s totally deserted with more closures every day - its a sad place. You will find somewhere opened if you all around or look online and pre-book and happy to check it out over the weekend as I need more Nespresso

Just re-read the OP and unsure if it is Victoria station (ie rail and Tube ) or Coach Station so I relied for the former. The coach station is a heck of a treck to Victoria and not much, at the best of times, around the coach station area. I would jump into a cab and go somewhere I had pre-booked for a couple of hours or walk to Sloane Square as there will be places open there (which is not that far)

Were at victoria coach station.

We normally go to victoria place shopping centre, get something to eat, sit in wetherspoons for a bit then get snacks in sainsbury for the 7 hour couch journey.
We've done it loads of times and I'm happy to do it on my own, I might have to do it on my own this trip as well so with it mostly being shut I was stressing about finding somewhere else to chill out for a bit.
I found another wetherspoons around the corner thats definitely open so that will be ok, I don't like the idea of wandering around on my own not knowing where to go ☺

Apologies, I thought the restaurant’s in cardinal place were open now. I’d really based that off of where I am in London and what’s open so I should have checked before posting!

Some are (Browns) others have gone bust (Balans) others yet to open (Bills)

As I said I will probably pop up there Sunday as I need some coffee and tea as more may have opened (or indeed closed) since I was last there 2 weeks back. I am astounded Weatherspoons has Re-opened but then again it would be the only pub around there open so captive audience for the few visitors ? It was boarded up last month

This is sad. I used to work in Cardinal Place and can’t imagine how quiet it must be now
