He came across as a really down to earth nice man. I remember back in the 90's going to see them in a "farce" at the kings in Edinburgh. They were hillarious. Mainly because the script was not exactly followed, neither was the set. One poor man got up to go to the toilet. The whole play stopped for an interaction with the said gentleman. When he returned it was the same again.

My DD met him over Christmas in our local Indian restaurant, he was doing the pantomime. She has a lovely photo of her and him together.
Such a sad loss.

I too met him a few times. He used to do regular An Audience with Bobby Ball in different churches talking about his career and faith. He was a lovely man and always very friendly. RIP.

The 5Live Drivetime show had Cannon and Ball on at least twice over recent months that I heard, to talk about their wonderful "Together We'll Be OK" song as it was such an upbeat tune during the gloomy days experienced earlier this year.
