University - class of 2021

My daughter has had an offer back from Edge Hill doing English Language. Her first first choice is university of Liverpool bit bot heard back from there yet.

My DD has applied to 3 universities and 4 courses as what she wants to study is fairly unique. She wants to study outdoor adventure education. She has applied for that at University of Wales, Chichester and Marjon in Plymouth. She has then also applied for outdoor adventure education with performance sailing at Chichester.
She has 3 offers for the outdoor adventure courses. She was pretty sure when she was applying that Marjon was were she planned to go. We were lucky enough to get a socially distanced tour there in the summer and were very impressed however Chichester she had to do an online interview and she was really impressed so is completely confused by it.
She is just waiting to see if there is going to be opportunities to look around Chichester before the dates she has to make a decision.

DS has currently got 2 interviews and 1 alternative course offered. Still waiting to hear from Surrey and Hertfordshire.
I am so proud he has even got to the interview stage for paramedic science as a huge amount of applicants never even get that far.
Bournemouth is his preferred choice and they offered him an interview last week.

My ds had his final offer through for Birmingham this week so they both now have all 5 offers in. My dd has a virtual offer holder day for Leicester in a couple of weeks, so looking forward to seeing what that entails.

DS has been offered another interview today! This is for Surrey. So he now has 3 interviews, 1 alternative course offer and just waiting to hear from Hertfordshire. 👍🤞

DD had had a unconditional offer for Gloucester ( its a 75 min in drive for her, just incase she stays home for the 1st year )

a conditional offer of D M M in her BTEC Lv3 sports from hartpury ( another just over 1 hour drive ), Her estimated grades are D* D D

Still not heard back from Cardiff or Bath, we love 20 mins from Bath, so thats her 1st choice, they want D* D D , so her predicted grades, but Bath can take the pick of the worlds students, so who knows

the only issue we have is how can you decide if you cannot go and view these places ? ? ?

My daughter has now got two offers, Edge Hill and York.
Her first choice is Liverpool so she is stressing about that.

DS has 2 unconditional offers for Heriot Watt and 2 for Strathclyde so now nees to decide which course he wants to do. At the moment he is swaying towards Accounts and Finance at Heriot Watt rather than Financial Mathematics.

As there is little chance of Driving Lessons never mind getting a test date and passing his test before September he is also having to decide whether to commute by train/bus or live in. Initially he was determined to stay at home but he is slowly being persuaded that to live in for the first year may be best option depending on what happens with Covid.

My daughter had her ucas sent this morning and has just received a conditional offer from one. I think it has just hit her that it is actually happening.
