Accommodation close to bars and restaurants

Looking to stay in a villa May 2022. Are there any villas that have bars and restaurants a walking distance away? I have stayed in Indian creek and westhaven previously but you have to drive to restaurants. Would prefer a walk to one if that's possible.

You will find that you will have to drive or Uber from most villas to the restaurants. Having said that, we stayed at Highlands Reserve and from there you could walk to the Publix, there was also a IHOP, Applebees and a few smaller places, a Chinese and pizza if I remember.

The other option is to stay near Rolling Oaks where there are plenty of restaurants and Sunset Walk and they you could Uber relatively cheaply a few nights. Places like Encantada and Sunset Lakes are near. Have a look on the Dibb villa map.

This is one of the exact reasons why we avoid villas and stay on South I-Drive (Sheraton Vistana Village). There is an Outback, Benihana & Fords Garage all within walking distance & we're on the I-Ride Trolley route to get to places to eat on I-Drive without having to drive, so we can both enjoy a drink with our meals.

That said, Uber is very cheap over in Orlando (as long as it's not on surge pricing), so we also use that too. We drive by day to get to/from the parks, but never in the evening.

As always, it's "horses for courses" as to where you stay. Villas can work out very cost effective, but do come with the caveat that the location is not always as convenient when it comes to dining out.

And too many take out walkable places to mention all but Popeyes Hungry Howies Mickey D Dominos Chinese take out and all the chains and independents 10/ 15 mins away either north or south including tai Cuban Mexican creole Italian etc
